![]() ![]() I myself think a 10" wide tire on 8" wide rims will be adequate for me as I still want to maintain some handling.if you go 14" wide I think you'll find that the car is going to want to go in a straight eat for the track, looks cool, but handles like doo doo in the turns. If your really trying to stick a 14" tire in there, you would probably be better off completely scraping the rear frame section and installing an aftermarket narrowed frame, with full tubs and a 4 link suspension setup. Its extremely fast and great to drive on the highway. When notching a 5th gen to the full extent, you would need to mini tub it. Aluminum LS 5.3 with a Hotshot Turbo and 4L80E transmission.
